Comfortable and safe wood splitting
The horizontal design significantly increases working comfort and safety. Available with 8t splitting force, the wood is pushed through the standard height-adjustable 4-fold splitting wedge, after which it remains lying on the folded-out wood rest. To prevent the splitting wedge of our horizontal short log splitter from having to travel an unnecessary empty distance to the stop, the stroke can be limited and adjusted to the length of the firewood.
For easy transport, the standard transport trolley and the stable chassis with large-dimension wheels are used. The SP8 models are also available with Speed Control as standard. This control regulates the changeover from rapid traverse to normal speed depending on the pressure. This increases the splitting performance by up to 30%, as work is always carried out at the maximum speed. In order to adapt the SP8 perfectly to your needs, numerous equipment options are available. For example, the hydraulic knife adjustment is absolutely practical in use and increases your comfort immensely.
