1930
Foundation of the company Binderberger Maschinenschlosserei in St. Georgen, Upper Austria, by the grandfather of the current company boss Karl Binderberger. The main business is the repair of agricultural machinery. The first own product for forestry is a firewood circular saw.
1960
Relocation of the company premises to Fillmansbach. With 10 employees, the company manufactures agricultural machinery such as fertilizer spreaders, slurry tankers and mixers as a partner of Palfinger.
1970
The first log splitter is designed, patented and manufactured in a vertical design as a cone log splitter with a roller table.
1986
The hydraulic log splitter with turntable to facilitate the positioning of wood is patented…
1990
The first welding robot, which still does its job reliably today, brings additional capacity.
1996
The first laser flatbed cutting system from Trumpf represents another technological leap forward in quality for the steadily growing company.
1998
The number of employees has increased to 25.

The first fully automatic and computer-controlled firewood machine combines the steps of sawing and splitting in a powerful and comfortable way.
2004

2006
First timber trailers and forest cranes are manufactured in-house. The production area is expanded to 16,000 m2.
2008
The quality of the Binderberger timber trailers in use is having an effect: in 2008, 100 of them will already be produced for the 8 to 11 ton range.
2010
A 3D pipe laser is purchased. This also enables angled cuts or precisely positioned holes in profile tubes.
2011
The number of employees has multiplied to 110. 700 timber trailers are now produced per year. 3,000 log splitters, 2,000 circular saws and 150 fully automatic firewood machines leave the production halls. The distribution of 60% of the manufactured products takes place to the whole of Europe and here mainly to countries like Germany, France, England, Norway and Romania, which are strongly involved in the forestry sector.
2013
Another laser flatbed cutting system from Trumpf goes into operation, significantly increasing production capacity.
The timber trailers are now available from 5 to 21 tons and optionally with various special bodies.
