Binderberger’s mechanical felling wedges are specially designed to help in all situations in the forest. Thanks to their innovative round wedge shape, the distribution of force and lift is optimized – for full lifting power with leaning trees at the tip of the wedge and large lifting heights at the end for guaranteed and safe felling.
Binderberger felling wedges impress with their lightweight and handy design. The handle is perfectly positioned at the wedge’s center of gravity, making it easy to insert into the trunk. The handle is positioned exactly in the direction of thrust, eliminating the need to grip the lubricated spindle.
At the same time, the extremely stable construction ensures that the devices remain reliable and durable even under heavy continuous use. The special axial plain bearing inside allows the wedge to adapt flexibly to the tree trunk, eliminating all tension and radial forces.
A special highlight is the barb plate, which is formed in one piece – it guarantees a form-fitting connection, relieves the screws, offers maximum stability, and contributes significantly to a long service life. The pointed barbs guarantee a secure hold in the wood and prevent the wedge from pushing itself out. The flat design at the tip allows the wedge to be inserted even with a very flat chainsaw.
